Our first stop was the National Hellenic Museum, located at 333 S. Halsted St. It's one of those Chicago attractions you've passed two-thousand times, but never stopped once to go inside. The Hellenic Museum showcased a Greek Street Art Exhibit that the teenagers really enjoyed. I could tell they were having fun because they were taking Selfies.
Our next stop was the Athena Greek Restaurant, located at 222 S. Halsted. We don't know what we ate, but it was pretty good. The servers couldn't wait to tell us about the two-hundred Greek words we already use; like Nike, Lemonade, Astronomy, etc. Athena was a blast. One of the explorers actually knew how to speak in Greek. Check out the video!
Our last stop was Havas World Wide, a leading advertising agency based downtown Chicago. These "Creatives" were kind enough to take the teenagers on a tour of the Agency. They talked to us about some of their high profile clients like Playstation, Hefty and Auto Zone. They gave the teenagers real "hope" when they talked about their internship program. And if that wasn't enough, they went above and beyond and gave all of explorers trademarked Havas vests. They didn't have to do that. Shout out to Havas World Wide.
